1. General Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing (email or WhatsApp) with host confirmation.
2. Non-Refundable Policy
All bookings at Tu Casa En El Fin Del Mundo are 100% non-refundable once payment is confirmed. By making a reservation, the guest accepts this condition. In exceptional circumstances (see sections 3 and 9), the host may evaluate alternatives such as date rescheduling or partial refund at their sole discretion.
3. Force Majeure
In documented force majeure cases (serious illness, death, catastrophes, government restrictions), refund or rescheduling possibilities will be evaluated case by case. The guest must provide supporting documentation.
4. Modifications
Date changes with more than 14 days notice and availability are made at no charge. With less than 14 days, an administrative fee of 10% of the total may apply.
5. Stay Reduction
Voluntary reduction of nights does not entitle a refund for unused nights, unless expressly agreed with the host.
6. Seasonal Rates and Dynamic Pricing
Our rates vary by season and demand. The system uses Revenue Management algorithms that automatically adjust prices based on occupancy and time of year:
- High season (December–February): full rate, possible increases due to high demand.
- Mid season (Sep–Nov, Mar–Apr): discounts based on availability.
- Low season (May–August): best available rates.
The price confirmed at the time of booking is final and will not be retroactively modified. Rate variations apply only to new bookings. The guest always knows the total price before confirming.
7. Payment Method Surcharges
Base rates apply to bank transfer payments. Payment via Mercado Pago and OpenPay (credit card, installments) may include a 0% to 20% surcharge, clearly stated when selecting the method.
8. External Platforms
Bookings through Airbnb or Booking.com are subject to those platforms' cancellation policies. In case of conflict, the policy of the platform where the original booking was made prevails.
9. Refunds
Rates at Tu Casa En El Fin Del Mundo are 100% non-refundable. In exceptional cases, and only when expressly authorized by the host, a partial refund may be considered. In such cases, administrative fees, payment processing commissions, and taxes already incurred at the time of the original transaction will be deducted from the amount.
